Positive Cases of Influenza (‘the flu’) on Campus

Health Services has confirmed multiple positive cases of influenza (‘the flu’) on campus the past few weeks. These appear to be sporadic cases, that is, no specific departments, residence halls or other groups seem to be solely affected. The flu usually causes sore throat, cough, muscle aches and fever. Symptoms are typically worse than a cold. For more information on the flu, see our page here:

You’ll find information on common symptoms, treatment, and guidance on how long to stay home from school or work.

Medical care at Health Services is available for ALL students, faculty and staff and dependents–for the flu or any other illnesses. The flu vaccine is available at Health Services for those patients aged 19 and over without an appointment.

Urgent Care/Walk-In services are available, or call 208-426-1459 to schedule an appointment. FREE patient parking
